Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. We are united by a single vision to help people live longer, healthier lives, using the power of genomics.
Genomics aims to help people live longer, healthier lives in two ways: super-charging drug discovery and development for novel treatments with our AI-enabled advanced genetic analytics platform, and by helping people understand their personal risk of common chronic diseases through polygenic risk scores - giving doctors and health systems the chance to get the right people into the right prevention, screening and treatment programmes at the right time.
Genomics turns large-scale genetic and health data into insight that speeds up drug discovery and helps people understand their risk of disease. None of it matters if people can’t explore it, trust it and act on it.
As a Staff Front End Engineer, you’ll own the front end of our SaaS platform and shape how scientists, clinicians and partners interact with data at scale. You’ll report to our Engineering Manager and work closely with product, design and data teams.

Build data visualisation components that stay fast and intuitive when the datasets behind them are enormous
Keep the platform performing as data volumes and user numbers grow
Make sound technical decisions with minimal oversight, and balance speed against long-term maintainability
Work with product managers, designers and data scientists to turn complex analytical output into clear user experiences
Raise the bar for front-end practice by sharing knowledge and supporting teammates
An experienced front end engineer who has shipped complex products in TypeScript and React
Someone who has worked on a platform handling large datasets, with real depth in data visualisation and front end performance
Comfortable owning significant workstreams, spotting risks early and solving ambiguous problems without waiting to be told
A clear communicator who can explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical colleagues alike
