<p>The Sr. Solutions Engineer is responsible for the successful delivery of LogicMonitor’s most advanced and complex technical solutions for our customers. The Sr. Solutions Engineer works as a member of the Professional Services team, interfacing directly with LogicMonitor customers while working closely with internal Customer Success Management, Tech Support and Training teams. As an experienced Solutions Engineer, duties for the Sr. Solutions Engineer are elevated to the most demanding projects with a focus on enterprise customers and internal projects.</p>
<p>For this Senior Solution Engineer position, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong hands-on ServiceNow experience. The role will have a significant focus on delivering integrations between LogicMonitor and ServiceNow, including <strong>ITSM and CMDB</strong>, as well as supporting solutions where ServiceNow forms a key part of the customer’s operational workflow.</p>

<p>We are is seeking a <strong>Senior Solutions Engineer</strong> to lead the delivery of our most advanced technical solutions. As a vital member of the Professional Services team, you’ll work directly with customers while collaborating closely with Customer Success Management, Tech Support, and Training teams. In this role, you'll tackle our most challenging projects, support enterprise customers with innovative solutions, and drive key internal initiatives to elevate our service excellence.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>: </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Experience</strong> <strong>administering, configuring or developing within ServiceNow</strong>, ideally including areas such as CMDB, ITSM, APIs/integrations, data mapping and workflow configuration.</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Lead Complex Deployments</strong>: Spearhead large-scale, intricate Professional Services engagements to ensure seamless execution.</p>

<p><strong>Drive Product Enhancements</strong>: Identify product gaps, feature requests, and issues, and communicate these insights to Product and Development teams.</p>

<p><strong>Deploy Custom Integrations</strong>: Implement tailored integrations using REST APIs to extend functionality within and beyond the LogicMonitor platform.</p>

<p><strong>Advocate Best Practices</strong>: Share technical best practices and lessons learned with peers to elevate team performance.</p>

<p><strong>Stay Informed</strong>: Continuously monitor new product features, updates, and enhancements by leveraging internal resources.</p>

<p><strong>Collaborate on Scoping</strong>: Serve as a key sounding board for Solutions Architects during the scoping of complex customer engagements.</p>

<p><strong>Plan Iteratively</strong>: Prioritize and schedule deliverables using an iterative development approach to ensure agile execution.</p>

<p><strong>Design & Implement Solutions</strong>: Create, document, code, and test technical solutions for new tools, automations, or system enhancements.</p>

<p><strong>Agile Execution</strong>: Implement solutions following agile software development methodologies for rapid, high-quality delivery.</p>

<p><strong>Customer-Centric Automation</strong>: Translate customer requirements into automation products that support the growth of Professional Services.</p>

<p><strong>Envision System Enhancements</strong>: Analyze business requirements to conceptualize and new system features and functionalities.</p>

<p><strong>Troubleshoot & Resolve</strong>: Diagnose and resolve automation or application issues to maintain optimal performance.</p>

<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>4+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise environments.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>3+ years of hands-on development using Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong grasp of programming concepts and effective debugging techniques.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Robust knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, and APIs.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with AWS services and other cloud platforms.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>IT certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, VMware VCP, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with container and automation technologies: Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure platforms: Aruba, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, EMC, F5, HP, IBM, NetApp, Palo Alto, VMware, etc.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with automation and scripting.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Understanding of Lambda functions and application monitoring.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Previous experience in software development, consulting, or professional services.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or Ruby.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Understanding of server application administration: Apache, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory, etc.</p>

<p>Familiarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Microsoft Azure.</p>
