accilium Group GmbH · Berlin, Berlin, Germany · Posted 1 month ago

Full-time

Job Description

accilium is a management and strategy consultancy founded on the belief that nothing is built to last unless it is built to evolve. That is why we have been driving the mobility and energy transition for nearly a decade. Through transformation projects that accelerate digitalization and position organizations for the future. We rethink organizations, put technology at the center, and always keep the people in mind. For us, change is not a matter of will, but of the ability to continuously evolve.

Together with our ventures &amp and accilium ventures, we operate at seven locations in Germany, Austria, Poland, and Romania and employ 110 people. According to Statista and brand eins, accilium ranks among the best management consultancies in the German-speaking world and is part of the “Hidden Champion of Consulting 2026/27”.

Why launch your career at accilium?

At accilium, you will help build something big. We move fast – and we will take you along on our journey working with top-tier clients and engaging in diverse projects. We foster an open team culture, place the highest value on your professional development, and always meet on equal footing.

You will work on one of the largest transformation programs in the automotive industry, supporting one of the world's leading automotive OEMs. Our projects focus on areas where engineering, product data, and vehicle software are being fundamentally transformed, ranging from the harmonization of engineering and IT landscapes to Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and the entire automotive value chain.

These initiatives come with complex challenges. Target architectures must be aligned across brands, domains, and numerous stakeholders while remaining stable over time. Legacy systems must be replaced in a structured way while business operations continue uninterrupted. At the same time, software-centric development approaches are changing established processes and responsibilities. We ensure that architecture and implementation are aligned, decisions are well prepared, and progress remains transparent.

Together with your project team, you will take ownership of customer challenges from day one. You can always rely on leadership support, coaching, and continuous feedback to accelerate your development. We believe in full transparency when it comes to your career. Your progression all the way to Senior Consultant in the Automotive Practice is determined solely by your individual performance.

Your responsibilities

You will work closely with the project team and project management and quickly take ownership of your own workstreams.

  • Target Vision & Dependencies: Support the development of target architectures and roadmaps while creating transparency regarding dependencies across topics, teams, and systems.

  • Transition Management: Support the migration from legacy systems and processes into future-state target architectures, including business cases and transition planning.

  • Requirements & Decision Management: Maintain requirements and prioritization structures, document decisions, and keep key project artifacts up to date.

  • Analysis: Analyze existing system and process landscapes and develop decision papers and business cases.

  • Tracking & Reporting: Build progress dashboards and reporting structures and prepare management reports.

  • Presentation & Facilitation: Create concise decision-making materials and increasingly facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Apply project management methodologies and structure content and interdependencies within the overall project framework.

  • Functional Consulting: Develop concepts and provide consulting support as a trusted sparring partner for the client.

What is in it for you?

SALARY

  • Full‑time monthly gross salary starting at € 4.650 (including 30 vacation days), depending on your experience and qualifications.

  • Annual salary increase + bonus (up to one month’s gross salary or 10 additional vacation days).

Because we value your commitment.

CAREER PATH & DEVELOPMENT

  • 100% transparent career path (company-wide standard) + Individual People Year instead of fixed promotion cycles.

  • A People Partner who provides guidance on career direction and development focus from day one.

  • Professional training, internal training formats, semi-annual performance reviews, and management 1:1s to accelerate your learning curve from day one.

  • Regular feedback, direct access to partnership, and a culture of change to foster your growth.

Your career and development are a priority.

IMPACT & VISIBILITY

  • We are big enough to deliver real impact, yet agile enough for everyone to actively shape the future.

  • AI is part of our daily work. We implement AI for our clients and grow internally to achieve our goal of becoming an AI‑first consultancy.

You witness real change and authentic decision‑making processes.

ONBOARDING

  • Buddy will assist you with onboarding and introduces you to our resources, organizational structure, and tools.

  • Latest hardware and software: Surface, iPhone & home‑office equipment available from day one.

Structured onboarding for a smooth start.

COMMUNITY & BENEFITS

  • Public transport ticket & corporate benefits.

  • 80/20 smart working rule (1 home office day per week available).

  • Events like reTreat, acc’sPerience, and our Christmas party create real connection.

  • Office breakfasts and after‑work gatherings strengthen the local community and encourage exchange.

  • Work from Anywhere option for flexible work models (up to 10 days per year from within Europe).

At accilium, community is real - not just a buzzword.

What makes a great fit

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a technical or IT focus, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.

  • Experience: At least one internship or working student position with a reputable management consultancy. Additional experience with an automotive manufacturer or supplier is an advantage.

  • Technical Understanding: Foundational knowledge of Systems Engineering, IT Architecture, or engineering and product data processes, gained through your specialization, thesis work, or practical experience.

  • Analytics & Tools: Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, combined with an interest in structured data analysis and visualization.

  • Good to have: Experience with Jira and Confluence, basic knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) or TOGAF, and familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about consulting and eager to deep‑dive into the consulting field.

YOUR APPROACH

  • Growth Mindset: Curiosity, a commitment to continuous learning, and the willingness to go the extra mile during demanding project phases.

  • Industry Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry, ideally demonstrated through internships, working student positions, thesis work, or extracurricular activities such as Formula Student.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities, combined with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, stakeholder-rich environment.

  • Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel within the DACH region (depending on specific project needs).

At accilium, we nurture your personal growth and provide guidance every step of the way.
